Have you ever experienced persecution when you shared the gospel with someone? I think we can all agree that one of the reasons we are less than faithful to share the good news is because we do not like to be rejected or ridiculed. Remember, they are not rejecting you, they are rejecting Christ. In our passage today, Paul and Barnabas exhibit four characteristics of a faithful servant in the midst of persecution: A faithful servant has a contagious commitment, a humble heart, a steadfast spirit, and faithful fellowship.
