Have you ever seen the damage that results from false teaching? The consequences can be dire and long lasting indeed. The Christian church has always placed a premium on sound doctrine because what we believe affects how we live. The early church set the example with the Jerusalem council. How exactly is a person saved was the topic of the council and the result of this gathering has echoed down through the millennium. We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
